One thing I enjoy about the legalization of weed in Minnesota was that with it being smack dab in the middle of states legalizing weed nobody is coming here for Legal Weed Tourism so in most towns there aren’t dedicated Weed Stores but like weed is legal and people want to buy it so where do you sell it? And the answer that the great state of Minnesota mostly came to was: smokable weed and weed smoking equipment gets sold at tobacco stores. Edible weed gets sold at liquor stores. So a Tobacco Store is less a store where you go to get tobacco and more a store you go to to get things you smoke, and a Liquor Store is less a store where you go to get alcohol and more a store where you go to get drugs that are also groceries

re: that charisma post. anathema runs almost entirely off of misconceptions and dire sincerity but not so that she can get the upper hand on people it's literally for her own sanity and efficacy she NEEDS people to not see her as a threat so that she can help them/do her job (in her mind).

the moment they realize she's capable of and has committed extreme violence and can do so at a moment's notice she's lost something she can never get back. in her mind, they will never trust her again. and she can't do her work without trust.

and if she can't do her work then she's slipping on the one hand-hold she has adhering her to an existence that makes any kind of sense - and the last time she had an existential crisis, people Died, so. let's skip that one this time. just give me your hand and know that i love you more than you can ever know.
